Usef Faghihi

Dr. Usef Faghihi obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Quebec in Montreal. Usef Faghihi is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Intelligent Systems. He also collaborates with professor Hu in the AutoTutor Lite project at the ADL Center for ITS Research & Development at the University of Memphis.

His interests are cognitive modeling, intelligent tutoring systems, language processing, emotions, human-like learning, e-learning, user modeling, and data mining.

The ADL-CITSRD is located in the FedEx Institute of Technology (FIT) on the campus of the University of Memphis. Researchers associated with the center are faculty, researchers, post-doctoral fellows, and advanced graduate students in the Institute for Intelligent Systems (IIS). The center researchers have extensive experience in research, development, and evaluation of advanced learning environments.
