George Anastassiou was a keynote speaker at the INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON APPLIED MATHEMATICS AND ENGINEERING held on January 21-23, 2022 at Biruni University, Istanbul, Turkey. His talk was entitled: Abstract Bivariate Left Fractional Pseudo-Polynomial Monotone Constrained Approximation with applications. Also this conference honored George Anastassiou for his 70th birthday.

The conference honored Professor Anastassiou for his 69th birthday.
