The Freedom Awards & Mahogany Ball is an annual event, hosted by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People at The University of Memphis. This event highlights influential leaders in the community, as well as on campus. Other awards are presented to minority organizations on campus (i.e. NPHC, Artistic Expression, Community Service, etc.).
