"Wise beyond her years, Clivona has a diligent work ethic and puts
timeless effort into being a scholar and remarkable student leader.
As the vice president for the UofM Chapter of NAACP, Clivona led
what was sure to be an unforgettable Live Museum event during
2017 Black History Month. As the first of its kind, it received
recognition campus-wide and nationally via social media."

"DeNisha believes strongly in the organizations that she is a part of,
such as the African Student Association in which she served as
president for two years. She is always in a recruiting and supportive
mode. Her dedication is apparent in her attention to detail, as she
knows her work speaks for the entire UofM community."

"Throughout his collegiate career, Jeremy has demonstrated the
importance of diversity, mutual respect and collaboration through his
leadership as a co-chair for the 2017 Black History Month committee
and the 2015-16 president of Black Scholars Unlimited. Additionally,
he has served in the UofM Chapter of NAACP, Tiger Leadership
Institute and Diversity Ambassador Program."
