General Studies in Music
set cell vertical height

Courses in music appreciation and the music of America offer non-music majors a view of the place of music in the world. As students become skilled in the art of listening to music, they begin to understand why the music of today sounds as it does. These courses include the music of various cultures, eras, styles, and media, as well as the creative process itself.

Music can name the unnamable and communicate the unknowable.
Leonard Bernstein

Music can change the world because it can change people.
Bono
