Sound Fuzion is a touring ensemble of nine vocalists, five instrumentalists and two
sound engineers which represents the University at high schools, corporate functions
and University sponsored activities, in addition to performing as part of the Music
School's annual concert season. The ensemble performs many different styles of popular
music including Top 40, rhythm & blues, jazz, alternative and country. Sound Fuzion
is regionally known for its professional and dynamic style and has performed with
the Memphis Symphony on three occasions to standing room only crowds.
Auditions for the 25th Edition of Sound Fuzion will be Tuesday, April 16th, 2013,
with recalls being Wednesday, April 17th, 2013. For more information, please email

Membership requires a one year commitment to the ensemble. The group meets Tuesday
and Thursday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. All members
of Sound Fuzion receive full tuition scholarships and earn one undergraduate or graduate
