KONNIE SALIBAis a retired professor of music at the University of Memphis; past president and national honorary member of the American Orff Schulwerk Association.  She has presented courses and workshops in the U.S., Canada, Germany, the Dominican Republic, Finland and China; is author of numerous publications; currently a music consultant, clinician and author for Scott Foresman Publisher with the new 2005 music series “Making Music”; and is the 1996 recipient of the AOSA Distinguished Service Award.

ELLEN KOZIEL is an Orff music specialist at Cordova Elementary School in Memphis, TN. She is the past general music chairperson for the Tennessee Music Education association and past president of the Memphis Chapter of the AOSA. In the fall of 2005 she was awarded the Endorsed Trainer Certificate from the High/Scope Educational Foundation, Phyllis Weikart, director. She is an active workshop consultant in Orff Schulwerk. Mrs. Koziel holds a Master of Music degree in Orff Schulwerk from the University of Memphis.

JOS WUYTAK is a retired professor of pedagogy at the Lemmen Institute, University of Leuven, Belgium and an internationally renowned authority in Orff Schulwerk.  He has taught over 1,000 Orff courses in over 50 countries; is author of numerous compositions and books that have been translated into eight languages.  He is the 1996 recipient of the Pro Merito Award from the Carl Orff Foundation.  He is returning for the 38th consecutive year at the University of Memphis Orff Schulwerk Institute.

DEANNA STARK is an Orff music specialist.  She holds a master’s degree in Orff Schulwerk and a Ph.D. in Historical Musicology, both from the University of Memphis. Dr. Stark is an active workshop clinician and has taught both recorder and certification courses in the United States.  She is a past president of the Memphis Chapter of the AOSA.
