Every effort is made to limit studio production classes to 16 students. Small classes, emphasizing "hands-on" training with significant studio access provide the only truly effective way to train audio engineers. Although the number of students, hours and assignments varies with each semester, this guiding philosophy allows our students to have a unique opportunity to gain substantial experience in our facility. Typically, students in the basic or advanced production classes receive 20-28 sessions per course. Students involved in Senior Projects typically receive 12-15 sessions. Each session is 4-6 hours long, but it is not unusual for students to have access to additional time.
