Performances by virtuoso guitarists Lily Afshar, David Mozqueda, and Daekun Jang will highlight the Third Annual Memphis International Guitar Festival at the University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. The event, which will be held April 5-7, 2013, will include concerts, a student showcase, a competition and master classes.

The festival is sponsored by the Augustine Foundation and hosted by the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. The Augustine Foundation sponsors the study and performance of classical guitar. The Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music offers Bachelor’s through Doctoral degrees in 29 areas of concentration.
