The Vocal Arts Division offers instruction to those seeking to develop skills as singers with a classical singing technique. Choral ensembles include University Singers, Opera and Opera Chorus, Chamber Choir, Contemporary Chamber Players, Gospel Choir and Collegiate Choir. U of M vocalists perform throughout Memphis and the surrounding region in productions by organizations such as Opera Memphis, the Memphis Early Music Ensemble, and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. The Vocal Arts Division offers the Bachelor of Music, the Master of Music, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degrees.
