Facilities
The Music Library has listening and viewing stations equipped for playing CDs, LPs, cassettes, VHS tapes, and DVDs. No copying is permitted with any of the equipment. Most recordings circulate, with varying checkout guidelines for different classes of borrowers.
There are seven public PCs, all of which are equipped with Microsoft Office and have complete catalog and Internet access. In addition, there is a 24-hour Learning Commons in nearby McWherter Library, and there are several other computer labs on campus.
There is a self-service photocopier in the library, operated with cards rather than cash. For more information, click here.
The Music Library has equipment for reading microfilm and microfiche. For copying and printing, film and fiche may be checked out to take to McWherter Library, where readers/printers/copiers are located on the second floor.
There are no public printers in the Music Library. Files may be saved on a jump drive, emailed to a personal account, or saved on the UM Drive for printing at McWherter Library or in one of the other computer labs on campus.
