Drama Celebrates Black History Month

The Meeting, a powerful drama about the lives and philosophies
of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, will be presented
at The University of Memphis as part of the University's Black
History Month celebration. The performance will be Wednesday,
Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in The University Center Ballroom.
The
Meeting is a fictional account of what might have happened
if a meeting of the two civil rights leaders had taken place.
Written by Jeff Stetson, the play received a Louis B. Mayer
Award and eight NAACP Theatre Awards in 1987.
