Three Join Advancement Staff at University of Memphis

The Advancement Division at The University of Memphis has added three new staff members.  Vanessa Gray Peterson and Lauren Isaacman joined the division as alumni coordinators; Michelle Hussey is the new director of advancement services.

Peterson worked on the Girl Scouts Council and as an in-school day coordinator and was outreach director for the Memphis affiliate of the Congress of National Black Churches Inc. She graduated from the U of M with a BA in political science in 2002.

Isaacman earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from the U of M. A former U of M Student Ambassador, she also worked on campus as the center coordinator for “Ask TOM.” She was a sales coordinator for the Memphis Redbirds AAA baseball team.

Hussey comes to the U of M from Lincoln University, where she served as manager of donor relations and stewardship for the past two years. She holds BS and MBA degrees from Maryville University in St. Louis.
