new year's celebration on the U of M campus.
Events
will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, in the University Center,
where booths will be set up for art, food, games, karaoke-style
music, and other examples of Chinese culture. At 7 p.m. formal
ceremonies and stage presentations will begin in the Rose

Local
political leaders will be special guests, including Shelby

Business leaders, too, will participate in the ceremonies,
