New Student Orientation Sessions Set at The U of M

The University of Memphis' New Student Orientation program, which helps students make a smooth transition from high school to college, will take place this summer between June 19 and August 7. Freshman orientation sessions are scheduled June 19-20, 23-24, 26-27 and July 17-18, 22, 28 & 29. Sessions for transfer students are set for July 21, 23, 24, and August 6 & 7.

Orientation is a mandatory program that provides students with everything they need to know about attending the U of M. During the program, students will meet with their advisers, learn about majors, and plan their course schedules for their first semester at the University. They will then be able to register. Photo identification cards will be made before registration is completed.

Parents of students are encouraged to attend the sessions, too.
