|U of M Business Alumni Will Share Real-Life Experiences With Students

Business leaders will teach morning classes and two individuals will be honored on Sept. 27 during the 13th Annual Alumni Day activities at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis.
Cathy D. Ross, senior vice president and chief financial officer for FedEx Express, will receive the College’s Outstanding Alumna Award. Greg Pilant, founder and chief executive officer of Greystone Medical Inc., will be named Distinguished Friend of the College for his contributions to the advancement of the University, especially the Fogelman College.
The keynote speaker for the Alumni Day luncheon will be Charles Burkett, executive vice president of First Horizon and First Tennessee Bank and president of First Tennessee Financial Services.
Proceeds from the luncheon, which begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and Resort Management, will support scholarships at the Fogelman College.
