Canty Robbins Named Director of Purchasing

Canty Robbins is the new director of purchasing for The University of Memphis. Robbins comes to The U of M from Southwest Tennessee Community College, where she was director of purchasing and auxiliary services.

Robbins earned a bachelor's degree in management from Christian Brothers University and a master's degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas.

"Canty has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of purchasing for higher education, including buying and competitive bidding, development of requests for proposals, lease negotiation, contract compliance, surplus property disposal, and auxiliary enterprise support," said Charles Lee, U of M vice president for business and finance. "I am excited that she has joined the business and finance team."
