of M Will Host Program for Students with Disabilities March

The
University of Memphis will host the program "Making the
Transition to College for Students with Learning Disabilities
and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder" Tuesday,
March 30, from 7-9 p.m. in Brister Hall, Room 220.
The
program is designed for high school juniors and seniors with
LD or ADHD, their parents, guidance counselors and special
education personnel. The staff of Student Disability Services
will discuss making sound decisions about college, differences
between high school and college accommodations, documentation
requirements for college accommodations, and the SDS program
at the U of M.
There
is no charge for the program. Those planning to attend should
call 678-2880 by March 23 to reserve a place.
