Special Education Institute Will Hold Orientation March 18

The Special Education Institute at the University of Memphis will hold an orientation session Thursday, March 18, at 4 p.m. in the Michael D. Rose Theatre.

The institute provides an alternate route to certification in comprehensive, early childhood and modified special education. It also provides tuition assistance to those who qualify, depending on the availability of funds. All special education teachers who are currently teaching on permit, waiver or alternative licenses are eligible to participate.
