Popular Personal Finance Expert Suze Orman Will Visit U of M March 21

Achieving and maintaining financial security is a major source of anxiety today. Few understand this better than internationally acclaimed personal finance expert Suze Orman. The Student Activities Council at the University of Memphis will host a visit by Orman March 21 at 7 p.m. in the Michael D. Rose Theatre. Students, faculty and staff may pick up one free ticket with U of M ID at the UC Information Booth.

USA Today has called Orman a "one-woman financial advice powerhouse" and "a force in the world of personal finance." From the stress of her father's losing his business to her post-college job as a waitress to climbing the ranks in the investment world and becoming a bestselling author, Orman has lived and learned many hard financial lessons. She translates these experiences into frank, savvy advice that has transformed the lives of people around the world.

Orman is also a talk show host, magazine columnist, writer/producer, and motivational speaker.

Students, faculty and staff may pick up one ticket with their U of M ID at the UC Information Booth. Ticket holders should arrive by 6:30 p.m for guaranteed seating. General seating for non-ticket holders will begin at 6:45.
