|Foreign Language Fair Will Be Held March 31 at U of M

High school students will demonstrate their knowledge of foreign languages and cultures at the 16th Annual Foreign Language Fair on Saturday, March 31, at the University of Memphis. The event will be held in the Psychology Auditorium and in Dunn Hall. The opening ceremony will begin at 8:15 a.m.; competitive events will run from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by an awards ceremony.
About 1,000 Memphis-area students will compete in a variety of contests, including poetry recitation, costumes, folk dance, drama, music, projects, crafts and a culture bowl. Competitive events will be conducted in French, German, Japanese, Latin and Spanish.
