Black Graduate Student Association Hosts Town Hall Meeting March 29

The University of Memphis Black Graduate Student Association will hold its second annual State of Black Affairs town hall meeting Thursday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. in Brister Hall, Room 220.

A panel of black student leaders, faculty and staff will discuss black leadership within and beyond the University of Memphis, race relations on and off campus and the utilization of political power.  

Panelists will include Dr. Karen Weddle-West, assistant vice provost for graduate studies; Dr. E. Renee Lawson, assistant professor of leadership; and Yolanda Ingram, director of the Tennessee Institute for Pre-Law.
