A gift from University of Memphis alumnus Philip Donovan has enabled the College of Arts and Sciences to establish a Travel Enrichment Fund.

The fund will assist students by providing supplementary money to help pay for study abroad programs, attendance at scholarly conferences, and undergraduate research initiatives. In addition, the fund will assist faculty members with scholarly travel and ongoing research projects.

The mission of the College is to provide quality education by training students to think critically about their course of study, themselves, and the world around them. To fulfill that mission, students need to experience cultures outside of the Mid-South.
