Math Conference Draws International Group of Researchers May 13-15

Leading researchers from around the world will attend the International Conference on Design of Experiments to be held May 13-15 in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Memphis. The conference will bring together researchers working in various areas of Design of Experiments, both theory and applications, including combinatorial design. The conference program will consist of plenary/invited talks and contributed papers from top researchers in the field. An opening reception will be held May 12 from 7-9 p.m. at Holiday Inn at the U of M. Keynote speaker Jagdish Srivastava, a professor at Colorado State University, will discuss “Statistical Search Theory with Applications to Medical Experiments” May 13 at 10 a.m. in the Psychology Auditorium. The conference banquet will be May 14 from 7-9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. The conference is co-sponsored by the Wang Center for International Business. For more information, contact Professor M. L.
