Memphis in May Student Affairs Conference Set for May 20 at the U of M

The University of Memphis will host the 17th annual Memphis in May Student Affairs Conference on Friday, May 20, in the University Center. The program will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year’s theme is “Assess to Progress: Developing an Effective Balance.”

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Gwen Dungy, executive director of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. Dungy is an accomplished speaker, leader and educator.

The conference is open to all professionals in higher education, including graduate students. Presentations will include “Assessment of Internships as a Continuous Cycle,” “Legal Issues in Student Affairs,” “Lottery Students: Access and Retention,” and “Sanctioning the Millennial Student: A View of Today’s College Student.”
