They’re perfect! Students from the University of Memphis’ Loewenberg School of Nursing scored a 100 percent passage rate on the December 2004 NCLEX (National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensure Examination). All nurses in the United States and its territories must take the NCLEX, which demonstrates competence to practice nursing at the entry level. Passing the NCLEX is one of the requirements for attaining a nursing license. In addition, the Loewenberg School’s Master of Science in Nursing program has been fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education without recommendations for the maximum period. The Loewenberg School of Nursing offers bachelor and master’s of science in nursing degrees. The bachelor’s program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and the Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing. Graduate and undergraduate students benefit from exceptional learning opportunities at healthcare agencies in the Memphis area, including 10 major hospitals.
