Admission
for Nov. 26 Band Concert at U of M is Free with Food
For

Donate
a canned food item and your admission is free to The University
of Memphis Concert Band and Wind Ensemble concert Tuesday,
Nov. 26. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Harris Concert
Hall.
The
food drive is sponsored by the Concert Band. Anyone donating
a canned good will receive free admission. Food will be donated
to the Moriah House, a shelter for battered women and children.
Regular
admission is $8 for the general public, $5 for faculty, staff,
non-U of M students and seniors. U of M students are admitted
free. The program will include "Sea Songs," "Ghost
Train," "Celebration," "Blue Shades"
and "2nd Suite in F for Military Band." Conductors
are Nicholas Holland and Michael Chance.
