Blue Ascendance and U of M Jazz Singers Will Perform Nov. 13

Blue Ascendance and the University of Memphis Jazz Singers will perform in concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Harris Concert Hall on the U of M campus. There is no admission charge.

Conducted by Tim Goodwin, Blue Ascendance will present music by Chicago, Dusty Springfield, Ani DiFranco, EU, the Stylistics, and Maceo Parker, plus arrangements by U of M students.

The Jazz Singers, also conducted by Goodwin, will present music by Turrentine, Hancock, Kerr, Jezebelle, Take 6, the Accidentals, and Miles Davis.
