U of M Celebrates International Education Week Nov. 15-19

In observance of International Education Week the Center for International Programs and Services at the University of Memphis is holding a number of activities, including:

  • A five-day exhibition of photographs taken by American students abroad and foreign students in the United States, Nov. 15-19, University Center, Mark Twain Lounge
  • International Career Talk, Nov. 16, 2-3 p.m., University Center, room 310H
  • Center for International Programs and Services Open House, Nov. 16, 1-4 p.m., Brister Hall, room 102
  • Study Abroad Fair, Nov. 17, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., University Center, second floor concourse
  • Phi Beta Delta Induction Ceremony, Nov. 19, 3-5 p.m., Brister Hall, room 220
  • Closing reception and photo contest awards ceremony, 8 p.m.-midnight, Michael D. Rose Theatre

The week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the United States.
