|Students Will Explore Physics at the U of M December 7

“Black Holes” and “The Quantum World” are among the topics local high school students will explore December 7, during Physics Day at the University of Memphis. The event is in Manning Hall from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. U of M physics professor Dr. Bob Marchini will provide the day’s finale with his presentation, “The Physics of Magic.”
The anticipated 200 participants will also be given tours of physics research labs at the University.
Physics Day is designed to introduce students to careers in physics, as well as to acquaint them with degree programs and research at the U of M.For more information, call 901-678-2410.
