It
is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but how
much would you be willing to change about yourself for the
one you love? That question will be explored in the theater
production "The Shape of Things" Nov. 1-2 and 4-9
at The University of Memphis. All performances begin at 8
p.m. in the Studio Theater in the Theatre and Dance Building.
Written
by Neil LaBute, the play is the ultimate fashion makeover
story along the lines of "She's All That," but with
a gender twist. Evelyn, an artist and graduate student, seduces
Adam and convinces him to change almost everything about himself
to win her love. The production is directed by graduate student
Chris Arnold.
Tickets
are $10 for the general public, $7 for non-U of M students
and senior citizens. U of M students are admitted free with
valid I.D.
