Leading researchers from across the world will participate in the fifth Design and Analysis of Experiments (DAE 2007) Conference Oct. 31-Nov. 3, hosted by the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Memphis. The conference, which will be held at the Holiday Inn on the U of M campus, is supported by the National Science Foundation and the National Security Agency. There are 31 speakers and 29 poster presenters on the conference program.
DAE 2007 provides support and encouragement to junior researchers in the field of design and analysis of experiments and stimulates interest in topics of practical relevance to science and industry. Each junior researcher will be paired at the conference with a senior mentor close to their areas of interest.
The design and analysis of experiments is at the foundation of the scientific method. It is used in applications across all scientific disciplines, including engineering, as well as throughout business and industry, and in medicine and the pharmaceutical industry.
More information is available by calling 901-678-3024 or online at the conference Web site, http://www.msci.memphis.edu/DAE2007.
