All students, alumni, and Tiger supporters – whether runners or walkers – are invited to participate in the race. Their course will wind through the campus past the Presidential Rose Garden, clock tower, student plaza, and FedEx Institute of Technology. The race will end at the Alumni Mall, where a post-race party will feature awards, music, and refreshments.
The celebration will continue Saturday, November 17, when participants’ race bibs will serve as their admission to the Barn Bash, the University’s official game-day party before the Tigers take on conference rival UAB. The Barn Bash will feature food, live music, and much more.
The deadline for early registration is Nov. 14. Racers may register in person at the U of M Alumni Center, 635 Normal, or online at www.trueblue5k.racesonline.com.
The early registration fee is $15 for U of M students, faculty, Alumni Association members, and members of the Memphis Runners Track Club, and $18 for all other racers. After November 14 the fee is $20 for everyone. All racers will receive an official True Blue 5k t-shirt.
