High School Seniors Can Sample College Life at the U of M Oct. 18

High school seniors and their parents can get an up-close look at the University of Memphis during Campus Day, set for Saturday, Oct. 18.

The event is designed to showcase U of M colleges and departments and to give seniors a sample of campus life. University representatives will provide information on academic programs, admissions, financial aid and scholarships, residence life, student organizations, and services.

Activities, which will begin at 11 a.m., include lunch, an information fair, a panel discussion among current U of M students, and a tour of the campus. Guests also may visit an academic department of their choice. The program is scheduled to end at 4:30 p.m.

There is no charge, but reservations are necessary; they should be made no later than Oct. 6.
