U of M Will Host Career and Volunteer Fairs Sept. 24

To put students and alumni in contact with potential employers and community service opportunities, the University of Memphis will host a Corporate and Government Career Fair and a Volunteer Fair Wednesday, Sept. 24. The fairs will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom and Faulkner Lounge.

Recruiters from corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies will attend. The fairs are free for students and alumni seeking employment, internships, volunteer opportunities and career-related information. Those who attend are encouraged to dress professionally and bring several copies of their résumé.

The Career Fair is sponsored by the Office of Career and Employment Services; the Office of Student Activities will host the Volunteer Fair. For more information, call 901-678-2239.
