|Events Sept. 28 & 29 Will Aid Job Seekers and Future Graduate Students

To facilitate networking among employers and University of Memphis students and alumni who are seeking employment, and to help connect universities with U of M students who are considering graduate school, the U of M's Office of Career and Employment Services will host two events Sept. 28 and 29.
The annual Career and Internship Expo will take place Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom.
The annual Graduate and Professional School Information Fair will be held Thursday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom.
Recruiters from corporations and government agencies will attend the career fair. Among the organizations represented will be Baptist Memorial Health Care, Cargill, FedEx Corp., First Tennessee Bank, Medtronic Sofamor Danek, Saks Inc. and ServiceMaster.
Recruiters from dozens of graduate and professional schools across the country will attend the Thursday event. They represent graduate school programs, seminaries, and schools of medicine, pharmacy, and law.
Both events are free and open to U of M students and alumni. Those attending are encouraged to dress professionally and bring resumes.More information is available from the University of Memphis Office of Career and Employment Services at 901-678-2239.
