U of M Will Host Forum on Constitution and Public Trust Sept. 18

The University of Memphis will observe Constitution Day by hosting a forum on the Constitution and public trust. The forum, which will begin at 6 p.m. September 18 in the Michel D. Rose Theatre, is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the forum.

Participants will discuss whether trust matters for American democracy. Panelists will include Mary Anderson, faculty member in the Department of Political Science and specialist in American government, civic engagement and mass political behavior; Steve Mulroy, faculty member in the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and authority on civil rights and civil liberties; and Sharon Stanley, faculty member in the Department of Political Science and a specialist in political theory and public law.
