Community Music School, May – August The Community Music School offers programs for all ages, from infants to adults. Programs offered this summer
include Memphis Music Camp, Memphis Suzuki Institute, Flute Institute, Music and Art

Continuing Education, June - August Enhance both your professional and personal life by enrolling in our interesting and
informative classes – classes you’re not likely to find elsewhere. From conquering

Discovering Architecture Summer Camp, June 1 – June 13 Discovering Architecture is an exciting summer day camp developed for high school
students who are interested in learning more about the art and science of design.
The camp is jointly sponsored by the Architecture Program at the University of Memphis
and the Memphis Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. For more information,

Girls Experiencing Engineering, June Girls Experiencing Engineering (GEE) is a summer program designed to encourage more
young women to become engineers. Through hands-on projects, middle- and high-school
girls discover what engineers do and how skills like creative thinking, problem solving

Girls in Manufacturing (GiM), June The Herff College of Engineering will hold its “Girls in Manufacturing” (GiM) summer
program for high school girls. In a fun atmosphere, students will learn about engineering,

Josh Pastner Basketball Academy, June Memphis Tigers Head Coach Josh Pastner and his staff will host various basketball camps. The camps will include the Josh
Pastner Memphis Madness, Summer Swish and Drills and Skills Day Camps. For more information

Melissa McFerrin Hoop School Registration is now open for the Lady Tiger Basketball Summer Camps. Memphis head
coach Melissa McFerrin and her staff will hold the camps beginning on June 19 with three camps being offered
for ages ranging from 10-18. The camps include McFerrin High School Team, Hoop School

Memphis Opera & Song Academy, May 17 – May 31 The Memphis Opera & Song Academy is a two-week program to prepare opera singers for auditioning and performing in
the opera houses of Europe. The Grand Finale Concert is Saturday, May 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Memphis Softball Summer Camps, June - July Registration is now open for the Lady Tiger Softball Summer Camps. Memphis head coach
Windy Thees and her staff will hold the camps beginning on June 9 with four camps being offered.
The Tiger softball staff will hold four Summer Camps beginning with a Pitcher/Cather
Camp on June 8-9. A Hitting Camp will then be offered on June 10-11 with a Youth Camp
offered June 16-18 and a All Skills Camp is available on July 7-9. Please see the

Tommy West Football Camps, June Memphis Tigers Head Football Coach Tommy West will host a variety of different football campus in June. The camps will range from
grades 2-12 with a specific one just for seniors. Visit the Athletics Camp website for information and details concerning the camps.
Richie Grant Soccer Camp, July 12-16 The University of Memphis head men’s soccer coach and a native of Dublin, Ireland
with various other staffing personnel will conduct a soccer camp in Jackson, TN at
Lambuth University. This campus is for males and females ages 5-18. For more information

The University of Memphis Youth Soccer Camp, June The University of Memphis Soccer Program will conduct its annual Youth Soccer Camps
for boy’s and girl’s ages of 5 to 14 for two weeks this summer. This camp will utilize
the games skills to focus on player development; with sessions consisting of passing,
receiving, dribbling, shooting, and heading. Whether your son or daughter is a beginner
or an accomplished player, this camp is designed to make them a better player. We
will group the campers in accordance with age and ability as the week progresses.

Swim School, May - August The Campus Recreation and Intramural Services at the University of Memphis are offering

Orff Schulwerk Institute, Levels I,II, III - July 13 – July 24 Master Class - July 27 - July 31 The Orff Schulwerk Instititute offers Level I, II and III along with a Master Class
training for teachers of the Orff Schulwerk approach to teaching music. All three
