The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance awards certification (Certified Nonprofit Professional) to students who satisfactorily complete four program components.
I. Undergraduate Matriculation
Student must receive a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution in any
major course of study.
II. Nonprofit Management Minor/Concentration
**Undergraduate Students**
The interdisciplinary minor in Nonprofit Management, offered by the Division of Public
and Nonprofit Administration, is the primary curriculum element of the Nonprofit Management
and Leadership Certificate Program. The minor requires successful completion of 18
hours of required courses, electives, and an internship with a local nonprofit organization.
To view the Required Course Listing, click here **Graduate Students** The graduate level concentration in Nonprofit Administration, offered by the Division
of Public and Nonprofit, is the center of the graduate level Nonprofit Leadership
and Management Certificate. The concentration consists of completion of 15 hours of
course work, guided electives, and an internship with a local nonprofit organization.

III. Co-Curricular Activities
Nonprofit Leaders Student Association Membership (Membership consists of participation
in organizing and hosting various student lead activities).

IV. Alliance Management Institute (AMI)
Attendance at annual national conference that features interactive workshops and
seminars on nonprofit issues. (Past conferences have been held in Orlando, Kansas City and
Atlanta.) Join us in Chicago for AMI 2014.
