TCB-Taking Care of Business
The UM NLSA organizes workshops, retreats, and seminars throughout the year on topics pertinent to nonprofit management and leadership. Some of the topics that we have covered in these programs are grantsmanship and job preparedness. NLSA also makes presentations to the student body on the NLA program and nonprofit awareness.

TLC-Tender Loving Care
UM NLSA shows their concern for the Mid-South community by organizing a variety of volunteer and fundraising activities. Some of the agencies where our members have volunteered are the United Way of the Mid-South and the Mid-South Foodbank. Fundraising activities include Pictures with Santa, holiday gift wrapping, BWW nights, and chocolate bar sales.
