RN Admission is processed on a continuing basis.  RN Students may pursue the BSN on a part-time or full-time basis.

  • Be admitted to the University of Memphis as a degree-seeking undergraduate student.
  • Have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee.
  • Submit evidence of recent clinical practice.
  • Have a minimum college cumulative grade point average of 2.7 (Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.66 in required science courses; Prerequisite science course may be repeated only once to earn a grade of "C" or higher; Maximum of two prerequisite science courses may be repeated)

Have completed specified pre-nursing courses with a grade of "C" or better
