Teaching expertise

Dr. Chung currently teaches Clinical Pharmacology in the BSN program.  He challenges students to make connections from Pharmacology to nursing practice and patient care.

Research interests and expertise

Dr. Chung obtained his Master in Physiology and PhD in Pharmacology at Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2001.  He has published dozens of peer reviewed papers and conference presentations as well as a US patent. He is currently interested in clinical nursing research on respiratory pediatric patients such as asthma, obstructive sleep apnea and cystic fibrosis etc.

Community and professional service

He currently continues to practice nursing in the pediatric hospital setting.
