Teaching: Prof. Perry currently teaches in the Advanced Adult Health Clinical, a core course
in the BSN program. Her past teachings include Adult Health Clinical and Population
Focus Clinical. Her research focus has been on the use of prone therapy and the Rotoprone
bed in the treatment of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
Service: Prof. Perry currently serves on the Student Affairs committee, while serving as one
of the Faculty Advisors for the Student Nurses Association (SNA).She is a member of
the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), Tennessee Nurses Association
(TNA), and Sigma Theta Tau International, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority
Practice: Prof. Perry currently works at Saint Francis Hospital- Bartlett as a staff nurse on
a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). She is currently Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) certified. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Post-Masters as
a Family Nurse Practitioner.
More: Prof. Perry enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include shopping, traveling,
and watching football.
