Teaching: Professor Catron currently teaches Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Clinical Practicum
at the Memphis Campus and Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at the Lambuth Campus
in Jackson, TN.
Service: She currently serves on the Student Affairs committee. She is very active within her
community and church where she serves as the Healthcare Ministry Coordinator. In fall
2012 she participated in the Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) Conference with the Herff
College of Engineering (University of Memphis) as a facilitator.

- Diploma in Nursing, St. Joseph School of Nursing
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), Baptist College of Health Sciences
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), University of Memphis
Practice: She has approximately thirteen years of psychiatric mental health nursing experience
and a certified Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI) instructor.
More: Professor Catron has one daughter (Kennedy). She loves to read and to travel. Most
of all she loves to laugh. Her favorite quote is: “To know even one life has breathed
