Teaching

Keisha Smith has been actively involved in nursing education since 2007. She primarily teaches Medical-Surgical I Practicum in the undergraduate curriculum. Previously, she has taught Introduction to Medical-Surgical Nursing Practicum, Clinical Skills II, and Ethical Dialogue.

Clinical Practice

Mrs. Smith has worked as a Registered Nurse for eleven years in Memphis, TN.  Her professional experience includes a focus on telemetry, renal, pulmonary, and general medical-surgical nursing.  She is currently certified as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse.

Service

Mrs. Smith currently serves on the Access and Diversity committee, is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses. Her previous service includes the Student Affairs Committee.
