Education:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)- Southwest Community College
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) -  University of Memphis
• Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) – University of Memphis

Teaching:

Ms King currently teaches Adult Health Clinical, a core course in the BSN program. Past teachings included Gerontological Nursing.

Service:

Currently serves on the Access and Diversity committee, She is part of the Methodist- Lebonheur Hospital Training Center as a certified Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider/ Instructor. She is a Fundamentals of Critical Care Support Provider. She is a member of her church’s Health Ministry.

Practice:

She currently works at Methodist University Hospital as a staff nurse on a Cardiac Step-down Unit/Cardio-Vascular ICU. Ms King has approximately 20 years of nursing experience in other areas of practice which include: Staff Development, Adult Cardiac Arrhythmia Unit with a designated Pediatric focus, Home Health, Medical Surgical Nursing, and Women’s Health.

Mrs King is married and has children. She loves to travel. The highlight of her week is attending church services.
