Education:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)- Southwest Community College
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) - University of Memphis
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) – University of Memphis
Teaching:
Ms King currently teaches Adult Health Clinical, a core course in the BSN program.
Past teachings included Gerontological Nursing.
Service:
Currently serves on the Access and Diversity committee, She is part of the Methodist- Lebonheur Hospital Training Center as a certified Basic
Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider/ Instructor. She is a Fundamentals
of Critical Care Support Provider. She is a member of her church’s Health Ministry.
Practice:
She currently works at Methodist University Hospital as a staff nurse on a Cardiac
Step-down Unit/Cardio-Vascular ICU. Ms King has approximately 20 years of nursing
experience in other areas of practice which include: Staff Development, Adult Cardiac
Arrhythmia Unit with a designated Pediatric focus, Home Health, Medical Surgical Nursing,
and Women’s Health.
More:
Mrs King is married and has children. She loves to travel. The highlight of her week
is attending church services.
