Sheri Howard, Director of Simulation Clinical Assistant Professor

Sheri is a full time Clinical Assistant Professor at LSON and is also the Director
of Simulation for both the Memphis and Lambuth Campus. She has been actively involved in
nursing education for the past 13 years. She teaches Nursing Leadership and Management
and also Clinical Skills I at the undergraduate level.
Professor Howard is a Member of the Tennessee Simulation Alliance, the International
Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL), as well as Sigma Theta Tau International. She is the Chair of the Technology Committee, and serves on the Nursing Undergraduate Curriculum
Committee, as well as the Dean’s Leadership Council. She is also a Certified American Heart Association CPR Instructor.
Sheri's hobbies include traveling, especially to the beach, golf (She and her husband
attend the Master’s every year), cooking and reading. She is married to her husband
Guy and they have a daughter Samantha who is a junior in college majoring in Pre-Med.
