Teaching and Background:

Dr. Elliotte graduated from the University of Memphis in 2005 with her MSN-FNP degree and the University of Alabama in 2014 with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She currently teaches in the MSN program-Family Nurse Practitioner track. She teaches the Advanced Health Assessment course and lab, FNP I, II, III and Residency clinical courses. She also has experience teaching undergraduate critical care clinical courses, as well as experience teaching in the Designated Education Unit (DEU) program.

Service:

Dr. Elliotte serves on the Nursing Graduate Counsel. She is an member of the Tennessee Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the National Organization for Nurse Practitioner Faculties. She serves as a liaison between the College of Nursing and the University of Memphis Study Abroad program to bring international nursing and health care experience opportunities to all interested students, both undergraduate and graduate, nursing or other health related fields. These programs have included the countries of the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Europe. In addition, she has international teaching experience in China in which she taught Health Assessment to both faculty and students at Jining Medical University in Jining, China

Practice:

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Elliotte currently works in a hospital owned urgent care clinic.

More:

Dr. Elliotte enjoys jazz music, fitness, running, cooking, and traveling. Dr. Elliotte is a regular Crossfitter and holds a Level 1 training certificate. She also has completed certifications in the Crossfit Gymnastics and Endurance Trainer courses. In her spare time she coaches classes at a local Crossfit box. She has 2 Golden Doodles, Corbin and Murphy; both keep her on her toes while around the house.
