Tracy Collins, DNP, FNP-BC
Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. Tracy Collins primarily instructs in the LCON MSN Family Nurse Practitioner program. She is the clinical coordinator for the LCON FNP program. She is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) and educator.
Dr. Collins is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APN) in the city of Memphis for 17 years. Her professional history includes experience in critical care, emergency department, gastroenterology, patient/family counseling, and teaching procedural delivery, supporting administrative personnel, staff development, preceptor functions and course developing. Dr. Collins presently work in a local Memphis clinic.
Dr. Collins holds memberships with National League for Nurses (NLN), National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) and the Greater Memphis Area Advanced Practice Nurses (GMAAPN). She serves as an advisor to MSN students. Dr. Collins also serves on the Evaluation and Curriculum committees in the LCON.
Dr. Collins shares her life with her husband and two boys. Her hobbies included sharing special time with family, attending church, and watching HGTV.
