Nursing On The Hill

Thursday, January 23rd, 2014, was Nursing Education Day on the Hill. Dean Lin Zhan and Prof. Lisa Beasley, along with many other Deans and Directors of nursing programs in the state of Tennessee, met with state legislators at our state capital in Nashville. Dean Zhan and Professor Beasley talked with many state representatives and senators about nursing education, and advancing the profession of nursing. The group of Deans and Directors for the state of Tennessee represent many nursing programs throughout the state including associate, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees at various types of state institutions and are dedicated to preparing nurses at all levels of practice.
